Demand generation, explained

A demand programme that ends with records reps can work.

Mandit Global runs demand generation programmes for B2B teams selling into the United States. We set down in writing who your best buyers are, put your content in front of them on the channels they already use, watch licensed intent sources such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and hand your sales team contacts an analyst has read, with the reason for each one attached.

Where demand gets lost

Programmes rarely fail for want of clicks. They fail at the hand-off.

A campaign can draw thousands of clicks and still hand your sales team nothing worth a call. That is usually a targeting problem: the brief says "enterprise software companies" rather than listing the conditions a record can actually be tested against.

The second failure sits at the hand-off. Interest is captured, dropped into a shared queue and left for three days while somebody finds time to review it. By then the buyer has usually spoken to whoever replied first. A record with no owner is a record nobody calls.

We work on both ends. Every programme begins with a written account profile, and a Mandit analyst reads every contact by hand — role, company fit, involvement in the buying decision and whether the mailbox is live, confirmed with NeverBounce — before a single record reaches your CRM.

The parts of the programme

Six parts, running as one sequence.

You can begin with the part you are missing or hand over the whole programme. Either way each part is written down, owned by a named person and reported on, and each one feeds the next.

Writing the account criteria

We speak to your sales team, look at the accounts you have closed and write down what a fit really looks like: industry, headcount, technology stack, buying triggers and the roles that sign. That profile becomes the filter every list, channel and message has to pass, and it is the same criteria the analyst applies later.

The content itself

A buyer wants something worth reading before they will take a call. We build or rework the assets that carry your argument — research reports, buying guides, webinars, one-pagers — and map each one to a point in the buying journey, so the content a buyer meets matches the decision they are making.

Running several channels

Demand rarely arrives from a single touchpoint. We run email, content syndication, your own paid social and your web properties alongside each other, so the same accounts meet one consistent story in several places instead of one isolated impression, and a reply on one channel is visible on the others.

Intent capture

Licensed third-party intent signals and your own engagement data show which accounts are researching your category at the moment. We review those signals weekly, and an account moves into outreach when its activity crosses a threshold you agreed in advance.

Checking every response

Every response is tested against your written criteria before it counts. Our analysts confirm the person's title, the company fit, their involvement in buying decisions and whether the contact details work, by hand and one record at a time, so what arrives is a conversation rather than a form fill.

The CRM hand-off

Approved records are written straight into your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or another platform you run), tagged with the source, the intent score and the reason the account was chosen. Your reps can see why it matters without opening a spreadsheet, because the analyst's reasoning travels with the record.

How the sequence runs

Four stages, repeated until the routine is unremarkable.

The order of the sequence does not change once campaigns are live. What changes is how accurately the targeting is set and how well the wording is written, because both are reviewed against what your team accepted and what they sent back.

Write the criteria

We document the firmographic, technographic, intent and role conditions that separate a good account from a wasted call, and agree the disqualifiers with you in writing.

Place the content

Content goes out on the channels your buyers already use, so your name is familiar before anyone is ready to compare vendors.

Read the intent

Engagement and licensed third-party signals are watched continuously. Accounts that start researching get flagged while the decision is still open, and the flag goes to the team that owns the account.

Qualify and hand over

Contacts are read by hand, scored against the criteria and written into your CRM with the context your reps need for the first call. No record leaves without that check.

Where it fits

Built for long sales cycles and thin pipeline.

Demand generation makes the most sense when several people influence the decision and each deal is worth the effort to win. These are the situations we are set up for.

Series B and later-stage SaaS

You have product-market fit, a sales team carrying quota, and a growth target that inbound alone cannot cover.

  • New logos in defined territories
  • Pipeline coverage for a team whose quota keeps growing
  • A steady flow of conversations between funding rounds

Enterprise technology sellers

Long cycles, several stakeholders and close procurement scrutiny mean early relevance counts for more than volume.

  • Outreach that reaches both the technical and the business buyer
  • Account-based targeting against named enterprise lists
  • Content written for a committee rather than one reader

Companies moving into the US market

You sell well in your home market and need a credible route to American buyers before you build a field team.

  • Mapping, sizing and ranking the US territories
  • Buyer research and messaging adjusted for US expectations
  • A Houston sales office, with delivery run from Pune

Teams with no outbound function

Marketing is running but nobody owns prospecting. We can be that function, or hand it over as you hire.

  • Outbound sequences written and managed on your behalf
  • Contact data an analyst has read, usable on the first attempt
  • Playbooks, criteria and reporting you can take in-house later
Questions

Demand generation, in plain terms

Most engagements are a monthly retainer covering strategy, content, channel activation and the analyst checking, with media spend billed separately at cost. The number depends on how many channels you want live and how many qualified records you need each month. We scope it on a call once we know your account criteria and your pipeline target, and we will say so if the goal does not fit the budget.

Campaigns are normally live two to three weeks after kickoff. The first engagement and the first hand-offs usually appear inside month one. A steady, plannable flow of pipeline arrives around month three, once targeting and wording have been adjusted against the responses your own team sends back.

A named decision maker or meaningful influencer at a company that matches your criteria, with a working work email, a confirmed role and a clear reason to be in market — active research, content engagement, an event or a direct response. A contact that misses those conditions does not reach your team, and it is not counted against your target.

Qualified records delivered, the cost of each one, engagement by channel, and the pipeline your own team attributes to programme-sourced accounts. In the first month we meet weekly, so changes are made while campaigns are still running. After that, reporting is monthly, with a review of what to extend and what to stop.

Yes. We can own the whole sequence, feed your existing funnel with contacts an analyst has read while your team keeps brand and product marketing, or take only the parts you would rather not build internally. Everything we run is written down, so your team can take it over whenever you are ready.

Tell us who you need to reach and what a good account looks like to you. On the call we come back with a plan, a launch timeline and the written criteria we will be measured against.

What arrives in your CRM

Each delivered record carries its own evidence.

The identity, the four checks we run before delivery, the consent trail and the journey that produced it, all on one document next to the record.
